Sunset view from the twentieth floor

I stayed in a twentieth-floor room with a direct view of Inya Lake, where I watched the sunset each evening. I walked through the adjacent Myanmar Plaza for shopping after I finished breakfast. Six high-speed elevators moved me quickly between the ground floor and my room.

Dining at long teak tables

I ate Shan noodles and tea leaf salad at the two long teak tables while lanterns glowed in the garden. I sat outdoors each morning for a rotating Burmese breakfast of Mohinga soup, yogurt, and fruit. My room remained quiet and clean throughout my stay inside the gated Pyin Nya Waddy housing estate. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere after returning from the nearby Myanmar Plaza shopping center.
